Maintenance workers repair Bayalpata Hospital’s reservoir system that provides the hospital grounds with water from local springs over five kilometers away. Before the establishment of this system, regular water supply was inconsistent and a critical problem for providing regular patient care. This advancement has provided a clean, reliable water source for the hospital and staff quarters, reducing the chances for contamination or waterborne illness at the hospital.
