I’ve written before on this blog about the importance of collaboration in the global health field and Nyaya’s efforts to join with partner organizations to work towards the development of best practices for the field. To further pursue this aspect of our work, Nyaya is a member organization of Still Harbor’s Praxis Network.
Still Harbor is a non-profit organization working to support and accompany individuals and organizations as they wrestle with questions of personal meaning, purpose, and social concern. The organization serves as a mentoring community and learning partner by providing opportunities for reflection, discernment, and meaningful collaborative exchange.
Still Harbor developed the Praxis Network to support evolving high-impact social justice organizations as they grow and encourage collaboration between such organizations, thereby enhancing organizational impact as well as efficiency and effectiveness. Work this past year with other Praxis Network member organizations included discussions on organizational management structure, cooperative development of fundraising initiatives, sharing of financial accounting documents, and much more. We look forward to continuing this critical work with our partners and are honored to be a member organization of the Praxis Network.
