The Shelley and Donald Rubin Foundation have awarded Nyaya Health a $10,000 grant for 2010 operations. The Rubin Foundation supports arts and culture, health and human services, and civil liberty and social justice initiatives in the Himalayan and New York City regions. This will be the second grant the Rubin Foundation has awarded to Nyaya Health and we are deeply grateful and appreciative of their continued support!
In 2009, funding from the Rubin Foundation helped to support Nyaya’s community health worker program. Funding for 2010 will be used to develop Nyaya’s x-ray program and support our ongoing ambulance program.
Nyaya’s work is not possible without the continued support of our funders. Nyaya is honored to receive the Rubin Foundation’s support for the second year and looks forward to working with them in future!
