Dr. Duncan Maru, MD, PHD, a co-founder of Nyaya Health, has received the Dr. Frederick Lovejoy Research and Education Award from Children’s Hospital of Boston. This award will support the mortality and morbidity review program that Nyaya has been piloting at Bayalpata Hospital as one prong of Nyaya’s broader transparency and accountability strategy. The Lovejoy award was created in honor of the renowned pediatric researcher and educator Dr. Frederick Lovejoy, who currently serves as the Associate Physician-in-Chief at Children’s Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. This award was created as one of many manifestations of Dr. Lovejoy’s passion for advancing clinical care, research, and medical education. Nyaya Health is honored to receive this support.
