Nyaya was invited to present its work as a part of the Harvard University South Asian Public Health Meeting.
The meeting, held over two days at the School of Public Health (Boston, USA), included speakers from various institutions and countries, discussing issues of healthcare delivery in South Asia.
Dan Schwarz presented on behalf of Nyaya, discussing our work and the broader challenges of population health that it aims to ameliorate. Presenting alongside Dan was Nyaya volunteer physician, Dr. Ruma Rajbhandari, who spoke about her work with The Nick Simons’ Institute in developing a rural staff support program for healthcare providers throughout Nepal.
Nyaya would like to express its gratitude to the Harvard University South Asian Students’ Alliance for organizing the meeting and their generous support of our work. We look forward to continuing our relationship with them and organizations like them, and congratulate them an impressive meeting, highlighting the difficult and challenging issues facing the global health delivery community as we move forward.
