I do extremely agree that provision of more training and health education programs would be effective to prevent diseases like HIV/AIDS.
The target group of population for the education and training programs should also include women and children since the epidemiology of the disease is concentrated more on these groups due to transmission from the migrant labour workers especially in the bordering areas like Achham.
So, school health project to increase awareness program among children and teachers as well as programs for FCHV and mother group is a must in addition to ARV therapy.
I am a 4th year medical student studying in Maharajgunj Medical Campus, Institute of Medicine
and also the local chapter leader of Universities Allied for Essential Medicine-IOM Nepal Chapter.
Looking forward to conduct such programs in collaboration with Nyaya Health.
